1. Strictly Uni-Directional: Video signal transmits exclusively from a USB-C host device (laptop, phone) to an HDMI display (monitor, TV, projector). It does not function in reverse from an HDMI source to a USB-C monitor.
2. 10Gbps DP Alt Mode Cable Required: Requires a full-featured 10Gbps USB-C to USB-C cable supporting DisplayPort Alternate Mode (cable not included) to connect your host device to the adapter female port. Standard charge-only cables will not transmit video.
3. Dedicated PD Power Pass-Through: The side USB-C port is designed solely for Power Delivery charging pass-through to keep the host device powered and does not support data transfer or video input.
