Important Notice

1. This is a 20cm USB Type-A male to USB Type-A female extension cable, not a USB-C cable. Confirm the connectors on your devices before ordering.
2. Up to 5Gbps requires a compatible USB 3.0 host and device. When used with older USB equipment, the connection operates at a supported lower speed; actual transfer rates vary.
3. Power available to a connected device depends on the host port and connected equipment. This cable does not guarantee a particular charging speed or sufficient power for every peripheral.

Product Overview

Add 20cm of reach between a USB Type-A port and a compatible peripheral. This short male-to-female USB 3.0 extension cable helps position a keyboard, mouse or flash drive where it is easier to access, without repeatedly reaching behind a computer or TV. It can also reduce direct plugging and unplugging at the host port.

Key Features

• 20cm short extension: approximately 7.87 inches, with USB Type-A male and female ends.
• USB 3.0 data: supports up to 5Gbps with a compatible USB 3.0 host and device; real-world speed depends on the setup.
• Older USB support: backward compatible with USB 2.0, 1.1 and 1.0 equipment, subject to device compatibility.
• Convenient access: extends a Type-A port for easier connection of USB peripherals.

Compatible Devices

Suitable for compatible USB Type-A connections on laptops and peripherals such as keyboards, mice, printers, scanners, cameras, USB flash drives, card readers and hard drives. For game consoles, check the particular console's USB port and peripheral requirements. Check that the host port provides the data and power your device needs; matching connectors alone do not guarantee every device function.

Common Daily Applications

• Move a keyboard or mouse connection to a more convenient spot on a desk.
• Make a USB flash drive or card reader easier to reach without repeatedly accessing a rear USB port.
• Extend a compatible printer, scanner or camera connection by 20cm.
